Apart from the usual suspects for City fans, is there any other clubs you don't like for any particular reason. Personally, i don't like the arrogance of the top clubs but i find it really hard to think of anything to like about Middlesborough. Its a horrible town, with horrible fans but i just wish we had a chairman like Steve Gibson. I think my dislike comes from previous meetings with the smog monsters & getting a brick on my head up at Ayresome Park one year, it must have triggered something in me against them & even now i don't like them.

Too many reasons.

Bunch of cockney w****s.

Went to Old Trafford once and they were above where i was sat. What with their bubbles song and just their voices they just get to me. they were the strongest set of supporters to have a go at beckham following his world cup sending off yet were no doubt celebrating his free kick that took england to the world cup for 2002. bunch of fooking hypocrites!!

Also when man united were going for the title in 1995, and they held us to a draw the celebrated like it was them that had won the league. a draw at home. alright they had stopped em winning the league but to celebrate like they did was very small time.

disliked em ever since.

Janjte, we all have bad experiences at the odd away game, but I went to watch The boro on saturday day take on Liverpool, was made to feel welcome had lashings of beer and had a good ol time all round. They even asked when I was going back up to watch them (never), pity I chose the knocker 0-0 draw of the weekend to go watch a premiership football match............

I tend to dislike the local derby games, I always seem to attract some nugget who wants to have a go at metdwn:

Don't know how anyone can dislike West Ham - the ironic "blowing bubbles" song is brilliant, the lyrics fit so well with their history!!...
Wish we had a club anthem like that, and like Man Citys "blue moon", Stokes "Delilah" and Rangers "Follow Follow".....:(

I have a dislike for Hartlepool due to personal experience of cockey little chavs. Not keen on Man U simply because of the behaviour of their fans when they came to VP.

Perhaps a similar thread re teams you have an affinity with would get more comment.

Burnley - Bunch of dirty Chavvy scum
Wigan - Same, don't deserve to be in the Prem with a fanbase of about 2 (no offence to Paul Jewell)
Fulham - I don't know why they exist, even the derbies with Chelsea are rather tame
Chelsea - I did quite like Chelsea before their 'Everyone's out to get us because we're so good' thing
Hudders & Leeds go hand in hand

Cardiff - bloody thugs.

Blackburn - unprovoked attacks on innocent people standing by after a match in the 80's

Never really liked Stockport due to that lanky dirty beggar Francis. He appeared on an advert sponsoring Elbowers ale - quite apt.

I've never been very keen on Arsenal or Newcastle. No particular reason, they've just never stirred my enthusiasm and I'll normally cheer for the opposition if they're on the tele.

I dislike Birmingham City the most. Never liked Brummage as a city but when I took my son (on this 13th birthday) to his first away match there, that clinched it. We lost, and still there moronic fans, stewards and police acted like complete twats. We had to leave via a tunnel and Birmingham fans were stood on top of it throwing stuff down on us in full view of complicit stewards. As we pulled out of the ground on the coach it was bricked, in full view of the local plod.

After that comes Man City as all my outlaws are fans and I get fed up of the constant drivel about them.

Do you remember the time we played Birmingham away when St Andrews was a shit-hole - the wind blew some of the roof in by the away end so they moved us to the terrace pen next to their nutters, with nowt but a flimsy fence seperating us.....as a young un i was shitting it for 90 minutes.....:D

It weren't that game that lost us the chance of automatic promotion mate - it was the piss poor 1-0 defeat to the TB's on a miserable, cold Tuesday evening a few months earlier.....they got fookin relegated that season an'all.....

Stockport have always been an odd bunch.

In the early 70's i remember going to a mid week League Cup 2nd replay against Stockport. The game was played at a 'neutral' ground at Burnden Park, Bolton.

The Bolton nutters , who joined up with those from County , didn't seem too keen on us either.

Must be a 'red rose' thing ?

I dislike West Brom. Been down there twice and both times heard the chant "You only sing when your burning."
Spurs fans annoy me too. All the radio phone-ins are full of their fans thinking they have a god given right to be top 6 at least. Wake up Spurs fans, you're a cup team at best.

Fookin' West Brom as well, because they're annoying bastards and they were giving it large in the Midland Road when they went up at our place couple of seasons ago.

Sour grapes and all that, I know, but nearly any other club in the country (in fact it may have been just because they were in the Midland Road and not in the Kop) and they would have got battered the way some of them were going on.

None of the Midlands clubs are particularly endearing though, east or west. You can chuck Stoke and Vale in there as well. Apart from Cov, I like Cov. tup:

Chelsea

They are a tacky cancer on the whole game. Their obnoxious manager a joke that has worn thin. Their we can bend and break the rules as much as we like because no fine is too big is cheating with arrogance that their standing and tradition in the game has done nothing to earn. They are a nouvea riche little club who get up everyone's nose. The Football equivelent of Lotto Chav Michael Carrol if you like. There is nothing about their recent endeavors that even resembles any kind of achievement and has not been earned in any way that their fans, long term and recent Arsenal, Leeds, Man Utd and Bradford City defectors can even be slightly proud of. It has all been put on a plate for an average manager by a foreign gangster with far more money than sense.

As long as Chelsea are a dominant force in the English game, it sends a negative signal to the whole of the football world that cheating and steam rollering and the employment of staff who can only gain adavantage by cheating is acceptable.

Chelsea - for their superiority complex, their everyone's against us attitude and Jose Mourinho! The fact they simply bought the title and that they have almost ruined players careers (Scott Parker, SWP etc).

My best mate supports them, started supporting them when Abramovich appeard! The fact that he'll never go to see them and yet still refers to them as we and wont hear a word said against them pisses me off too!

Frank Lampard better than Steven Gerrard my arse!

Burnley - Stan Ternant was a complete tosser while he was manager.
Forest, Birmingham, Wolves, Sheff Wed - I can't stand their fans and thier "We're a big club" mentality. You were a big club once you are not any more, get over it.
MK Dons - For turning the club into a franchise.
Grimsby - Don't know why, just never liked them and their ground is a shit hole.
