Should Black be playing in the reserves today? -- we know the guy can play but he is not fit -- so give him some time on the pitch to get back into the swing

I was wondering that Mall, if he was so unfit match wise last week, surely at least 45 minutes for the reserves would get him some sharpness back after a full weeks training with the squad.

Not necessarily, extra training sessions will do more for him fitness wise than 45 minutes in the reserves.

Aye but one would assume Todd think's his match fitness is ok if he threw him straight in, it would seem his fitness in whole is the question not his sharpness. That was my point. He'll be on the bench on Saturday!

45 mins in the stiffs would not harn him though - I think his general fitness and match sharpness can only improve the more you spend on the pitch.....stiffs or not.
