......The one and only time i wanted em to flatten someone and they let the whole of the English nation and English football down - Fergie should be disgusted - especially at Saha who was a disgrace, trying to arrogantly chip the keeper - why didn't Rooney take the penalty aswell....headtap:
Sellick didn't get a touch in the first half which fueled Man Utd's arrogance....tdwn:  Compare the worth of the teams (200 millionish compared to 15 millionish) - hope Fergies as disgusted with his team as most of the rest of us are!!
Congratulations to C*ltic though - on being the 2nd ever Scottish team to make the knock out.....i bet the rest of Europe are pappering themselves at the thought of playing em....

Did you not see Sir Alex at the press conference - he was mortified that they had not scored.
Well done to celtic on achieveing the higher level - but it only fuels the jocks fever to be able to compete in the prem league.
We dont want them - Rangers or Celtic - there scottish and should stay there.

We'll now get all the usual crap from the sweaty socks about how they'd win the Premier League if only the English would let them in. The only way they are a big club is in terms of supporter base. They are an average team in a poor league who wouldn't , with that team, finish in the top half of the Prem . As you say KB it was ManU's arrogance that stopped them winning that game & it would serve Fergie right if Benfica knocked them out which isn't as far fetched as people might think

Love or hate Chelsea and Jose - there's no way he would have let that happen last night.....he'd have hauled Saha off at half time, or if not - as soon as he tried his rediculous fookin "scoop" over the keeper!!

United needed a point to qualify. 1st half display top class passing it around brilliantly. celtic were treading water. looked as though a goal was going to come. There was certainly no arrogance but an accomplished professional performance.
with 10 mins to go and only needing that point you'd have to confident that they were going to hang on.
As for the people having a go at saha, although im not his biggest fan, i'll support him on both chances.
firstly, the chance where he tried to lob the keeper, in his defence, i think he thought he was offside. yes he's a pro and should have carried on and put it away but i think there was some doubt in his mind.
as for the penalty, why shouldnt he have taken it. he is the penalty taker and scored against celtic in the 1st game from the spot and has also scored a penalty in the league. there should have been no reason for him not to take it.
as for a disgrace, i wouldnt go that far. well done to celtic for holding on and getting the result they wanted.

I was well happy that Man utd got beat, always hated them when i was growing up when they were winning everything. When mental when keeper saved the penalty. Think the fans make the differance there, if celtic were playing in the prem I think they would lose alot of away games. Best team in scotland by a mile tho, better than those scumbag blues.

Nice one mate, I'll be sure to offer you my congrats when Celtic finally catch up Rangers world record 51 league titles, which even if Celtic win them all back to back is still about 16/17 years off....tup:

Which is a lot less time than it'll take for Rangers to get that elusive 52nd one eh? And don't get me started on the timescale for Rangers' first European Cup, I can honestly guarantee the Universe will have expanded as far as it will go and have imploded on itself by then.
