Another day, another weekend for blind optimism - and in true city tradition likely to be let down ruining another weekend.
Today I'm infiltrating the Oldham end and going with Bald Bantam to see a friend who's and Oldham nut.
Mr. Nut reliably informs me that their first choice back 4 are all injured. They are playing well at the moment. The manager (John Sheridan) has stated that we are one of the most dangerous teams in the division but our weakness is in defence (IMO our defence is good, but our wingers leave us open to pressure - hence I'd sacrifice Holmes with 3 midfielders and JJ as per Crewe).
So, it should make for losts of goals!
Stats, life, and City from the dawn of time tell me it will be an Oldham win, but I'll plump for a 2 - 3 victory.
