Ffs why can't you anti-McLaren wallahs admit it? We were great. Any other time over the last fifty years and you'd be creaming your pants at the thought of drawing 1-1 away in Holland.
But oh no, McLaren got it all wrong, Johnson was out of position, it was the wrong formation, Holland had key players missing, Robinson was s**t.
I don't know whether you noticed, but on the same night England drew AWAY with Holland the mighty Germans scraped a 1-1 draw against Cyprus in a Euro Champ qualifier that actually fookin' meant something.
HELLOOOOOOO, welcome to planet earth.

I neither do or don't. I'm just ranked off with all this anti-McLaren bolliox.
Ramsey apart, and don't forget, he had home field advantage, no other England manager in English football history has achieved jack s**t with the national team. So why the fook stick the boot in on a newbie?
I'm of the opinion it doesn't matter who's in charge, they can tinker with the team all they like. The bottom line is we aren't that fookin' good and the sooner people realise that the better.

Meaning what G? Is it a good result or bad?
My point is, regardless of it being a friendly or not, past history deems it a good result and it compares favourably with any other managers record.

That point is good... I just never ever take anything out of friendlies other than a clean bill of health.

Me too, although maintaining a clean bill of heath is quite difficult when confronted by the police in Macedonia.
It strikes me poor old Macca can't do right for doing wrong, but let's not forget he's in bloody good company.
