TYKES TAKE A LOOK AT CADAMARTERI
Barnsley have handed a trial to former Bradford striker Danny Cadamarteri.
Former Everton, Leeds and Sheffield United forward Cadamarteri was released from Valley Parade in the summer following a second spell there and is looking to secure a permanent deal.
He joins former Sheffield Wednesday goalkeeper David Lucas, who joined the club on trial earlier this week, having left the Owls in May following long-term injury.
Lucas turned down a new deal to stay at Hillsborough and is now looking to regain full fitness at Oakwell.
Barnsley manager Andy Ritchie is currently looking for a new keeper following the return of on-loan teenager Vito Mannone to Arsenal.
