As its coming up to the festive season, I thought of arranging a night on the tiles with plenty of notice.

I have posted this on the C&B FC forum, just because of the fact that if nobody else wants to come it can be turned into a "footy do".

However, all welcome. The more the merrier!!

I was thinking Friday 8th December, but willing for any feedback.

So we can please everybody I have done a poll of suggestions of where we shall grace/hunt/fight on said night.

Sounds like a good idea but I very much doubt that I would be welcome :D

As for going out, I've not been out in Bradford for a while so it's difficult to say where to go. I'd recommend meeting at Lloyds No1 in Centenery Square as this is sort of central for everyone. Then from there the choice is yours, either Wibsey or around town

Of course you are JS.

As long as what happens on a night out, stays on a night out.

I dont want to be repremanded for my shenanigans by my agent/manager off the field.

Halifax!

Tarty
11-16-2006, 03:05 PM
Halifax!

Halifax isn't a bad night out. I was over there the other week. There is a pub called Brass Cat where the beer is pretty cheap

Superfatbantam
11-16-2006, 03:09 PM
I know, that's why I suggested it. All the pubs are within a stone's throw of each other and no-one raises an eyebrow to groups of lads.

Unless of course you are Paddy Kenny!:D

Tarty

It's not that expensive in a taxi either. Only £15 from Halifax to Keighley so you are talking about £20 to Bradford. Split it between yourselves on the way back and it could work out cheaper than a night in Bradford

Superfatbantam

Tis alright I live at Wyke so it's about £7 for me! Either way I'm alright.

Soz, Boosh, I don't want to do Leeds.

Tarty
11-16-2006, 03:15 PM
How much would it be in a taxi from Bradford to Wyke? About the same price I guess.

If you are lucky, you lot could arrange to get a taxi booked to carry all of you

ILKLEY!!!!!!

Ilkley's not a bad place to go for a drink either, but I'm not sure how much it is for a taxi back from Bradford.

The only problem with Ilkley is that the pubs are spaced out. It's not something that you can go to for a pub crawl.

Now Addingham which is just outside Ilkley has a few pubs all down one street. I've not drunk around there so I don't know what the pubs are like, but maybe starting in Addingham, walking down the street trying out the 4 or 5 pubs that are down the street, before jumping on the bus or whatever into Ilkley town centre......

Also I'm not quite sure if Ilkley has any nightclubs

That's ok we don't mind bonding with non-players.

The invitation was open to all anyway I think.

when there's so many of you, the taxi fare is pretty irrelevant....so place with the best pubs/clubs should be chosen....

Another vote for Headingley from me. Halifax 2nd choice as Clayton is on the way home in a taxi and I can slip out without paying.:D tup:
Might be busy though as it's someone's birthday that week.;)
