I'd hardly class ephedrine as Smack or Skunk!
However, good luck to him at Barnsley, we've had him long enough here to know he's not better than anything we already have.

The ban was 6 months BUT it started from the month of the positive test (i.e May) so he has served his 6 month ban!
Pretty much as soon as he was found guilty, city terminated his contract by mutual consent so he is free to sign for any other club now!

"Mutual consent", hmmmmmmm! Don't complain that we're sacking you and we won't say anything in the press about your drugs offence. Perhaps.

well as JY said - we know he is not good - and his fitness has always been in doubt.
Everton, City, Leeds and Sheff Utd know he is poor quality - so he needs all the luck he can get to con someone else.

I think that's a bit harsh to be honest. Cadamateri has got the talent if he wants to apply himself, and I remember a brief spell of about a month when he was trying and was my man of the match for about 4 games on the trot. Unfortunately it coincided with a run of poor form for the rest of the team, so it got overshadowed somewhat.
I wouldn't have been so distressed if Cadamarteri had ended up staying here.

Did not do anything in either spell to convince me he was a good enough footballer to warrent a third spell.
I take your point that even good players can be made to look poor in a rubbish squad.

Played out of position and poorly motivated/consitantly abused by one/two of the worlds most useless managers!!

Leicester have confirmed they are expecting Danny Cadamarteri to arrive at the Walkers Stadium for a trial period this week.
The former Everton, Bradford, Leeds and Sheffield United striker is currently without a club - despite representing Grays in their Conference match against York on Saturday - after serving a six-month drugs ban.
City manager Rob Kelly told the club's official website: "Danny is coming to train with us and we shall take it from there. Nobody loses anything.
"I knew Danny as a younger player when he was at Everton and he had potential. He is a little older and more mature now.
"He is just a player who is available and who we will have a look at."
Cadamarteri, 27, has also recently trained with Championship rivals Barnsley and League One side Oldham.
