Just noticed this, why is it not possible for the police to operate on the same day in 2 cities 10 miles apart. Why should we have to move the fixture to Friday night because L**ds are playing. This will affect the potential attendance & mean losing out on potential revenue just so the police don't have to get off their arses & do the job they are payed for.

The problem being is that the Millwall fans will have to get off at leeds from kings cross and then transfer over to bradford on the train.

If leeds are at home the same day the potential for trouble increases.

It's a shame that city's game is the one that suffers.

As for the police argument, it's West Yorkshire police as a whole, so officers from the bradford area may well sometimes cover leeds games whilst the same may happen the other way. their argument being that their resources would be stretched trying to deal with the scum bags from bellend road and also the millwall fans arriving no doubt intent on causing trouble.

I am sure someone will confirn or correct me but didnt city vs Scunt, hudds vs Donny and Leeds vs Leic all take place on the same evening this season. I know the City and Hudds games were only the league trophy but I am sure they were the same night

Why don't West Yorks Police draft in some coppers from South Yorks? They are playing Barnsley after all, hardly a massive trek for them.
