More on Smith...

SMITH LINKED WITH BLUEBIRDS MOVE
Manchester United's Alan Smith is reportedly set to be loaned out to Cardiff.
The striker broke his ankle against Liverpool in a Premiership clash at Anfield back February and has been unable to break the partnership of Louis Saha and Wayne Rooney since his return.
Smith looked clearly short of match fitness and talent in Tuesday's 1-0 Carling Cup defeat to Southend and was substituted after 60 minutes
And according to BBC Sport Wales, United have now accepted an offer from Cardiff to take the 26-year-old on loan although personal terms will have to be agreed.
The Championship-topping Bluebirds need cover as first-choice striker Steve Thompson will be out for most of November with an Achilles injury.
Cardiff chairman Peter Ridsdale, formerly Smith's chairman at Leeds, is thought to be the man behind the move.
In his time at L33ds, Smith was sent off there for elbowing Andy Legg in a fiery FA Cup third-round tie which L33ds lost 2-1 in January 2002.
