Injured Brighton goalkeeper Wayne Henderson was thrown out of Valley Parade for celebrating his team's last-minute winner.
He jumped on a wall to get a better view of the 89th minute goal on Saturday, reports the Brighton Argus.
But he was ejected by stewards when the keeper jumped back off to celebrate - despite his protestations that he was a player.
Henderson, who missed the game because of a thigh injury, told the paper: 'I stood on the wall, then stepped back off it and started celebrating when Dean scored.
'I didn't go onto the pitch but a steward grabbed me. I told him to calm down but he was joined by two more and I was marched outside.
'It was completely over the top. I told them I was one of the players but I think they were a little bit annoyed!'
Mind you I missed the goal too. I was already on my way out.
