Off work today, so i thought I'd take myself to the flicks to see 'The Departed'
I rarely watch films, however if one grasps my imagination I'll go watch it at the movies.
I'd read good reports of the movie, and having it been directed by Scorsese I looked forward to seeing it.
It certainly isn't in the same class as Goodfellas, it does however flow well with loads of twists and doudle crossing, a gorgeous supporting actress whose name I need to find out. Fairly graphic violence, I just felt if there was a criticism It was the characters were more Caricatures of villians as opposed to the menaceing realistic ones in Goodfellas or Casino, particluarly Costello played by Nicholson. Mr French played by Ray Winston was excellant
