Probably in the wrong section, but hope somebody can help.

I have recently got a new company laptop which is networked to the main server at work.

The company I work for does not have an IT policy so I am sure its nothing to do with any enforced settings from a power that could be.

The thing is, all pop ups on the internet are blocked.

I have tried the usual, tools-pop blocker off on the top tool bar.

I have tried and pissed about with the settings so they are low, but to no avail.

Any advice?

With it been a company laptop, does it have any firewall like Norton?

Took that shit off and put AVG on.

Does that make a difference?

enable javascript in your browser :)

OR

Add this site to your trusted sites list.

The new version of AVG has a spyware remover but don't think it blocks po-ups.
