Soz i didn't come in for a beer but i'm sure you realised that the pig was poorly last night!! Sorry i weren't on top of my game last night, reflexes just weren't there, altho i didn't have much chance with many of the goals!!
A few obbo's tho from the 1st two games and the last two!! The main difference IMO why weve lost the last two is that were playing a different game, the first two games saw us spraying the ball about, keeping possession and keeping it tight in the 1st half - wearing the other team down.....in the 2nd half when the opposition tired we killed em off!!
The last two weeks has seen us being a lot more direct, don't know if its because we have more direct players (like Si) or because of our confidence - probably both, but were taking the game from the off to the opposition, something which they're killing us with on the break - before we know it they've scored 3/4 goals in the space of 5 minutes leaving us with a massive mountain to climb.....the 2nd half in the last two defeats have proved what i've said because weve been by far the better team, the only trouble is by that stage weve left ourselves with too much to do!!
No way has any team weve played been better than us - weve been the best team i've seen in our division so far, but were not playing to our strengths like we did in the 1st couple of games - the answer......well IMO we need to play the possession game in the 1st half and keep it tight, that type of game suits JD, JP, Gaz and Booshie - there's no need to be too ambitious, the odd chance and pot shot might see us take the lead, but the most important thing is not to concede - weve killed every team weve played in the 2nd half with our football when they start tiring.....i'd honestly play the above team from the off - then look to bring on the subs and change things when the opposition tire in the 2nd half!!

Cheer up KB, we realise you were under the weather and nobody blames you completely for the humiliating loss suffered last night;) ;) Some good points there though but as well we've come up against 2 cracking keepers in the last 2 weeks which hasn't helped. Keep the faithtup: tup:

No offence mate - but you'd be totally and utterley out of your depth Bullboy....were playing fit players who can get around and in the main our team is fit - your not!!
Can't comment on last night for obvious reasons but the two games that were won ..... were won because everyone played as a team ..... people passed to each other and didn't run full length's of the pitch and then too tired to run back as started happening last week.
The games we won everyone touched the ball at least twice on the way towards goal and it was all well worked team play but last week probably through confidence growing from two wins people began to play like individuals rather than as a team. You only have to look at how England have played recently and the comments made by Billic. Lot's of talent but not playing as a unit.
If the team played like they did in the first two games and as you say above kb spray the ball about between each other wearing the teams down slowly this group of players would be very hard to beat.
Also having a player or two on the bench who can come on and just sit back and break things up like Adie did in the first game would be good also allowing the attack minded players a chance to come off and refresh there leg's get a drink and to look at how they can expose there defenders.
There's other things but i'm sure people can work those ones out :)
Good Luck with the rest of the season and I hope you get it right on the pitch I want to see my logo on the back of the T&A with a trophy held above your heads :D

Eh? What game were you watching? From my vantage point all i saw was someone who couldn't run falling on his arse all the time!!...
Our best performance so far was in the 2nd game!!
Each person has there own opinion, I didn't think he played too badly not everyone can be good but he tried as did I which is all you can ask from a player is to try there best.

You played very well - surprised the fook out of me if i'm honest, you gave 100% and got up and down the pitch well even tho you weren't the fittest - scored some good goals too!!...tup:
In fact - totally the opposite to how "big girls blouse bullbantam" played!!...

Thats because you haven't fookin played, besides, unless someone picks you up, pays your subs, then drops you off home (me) then you'd prefer to sulk at home.....tdwn:
I was totally pished off with my own performances because I know I can play even better than I did play - If I was fitter i'd of been able to put much more into my game I do normally like to play defense but I found it too hard due to being so unfit so hung around upfront. I know I can play 10 times better than any performance I put in for C&B and it's frustrating that I didn't get chance to show that I could be a valuable asset to the team, oh well I blame the owners of Carlsberg for that!
I didn't honestly realise how hard it would be after not playing for 4 years. I haven't really played much since ball park closed in Little Horton and became that fitness place. My energy level's are so bad it's embarrasing and then to get injured mainly due to being unfit too has pissed me off as well. My knee is responding well to treatment if I rest and do the excerises the doctor has told me todo my knee will heal without surgery. My aim is to get fit again and re-join a team I played for a few years ago and play at Richard Dunn's again in the new year.
I can understand how Adie found it hard with probably being more unfit than him as well.

Your been a bit hard on yourself Ed, you contributed a lot to the games in a team that was really thrown together in a rush to get registered in time & scored a couple of great goals. To be fair , everybodys energy levels will be questioned until the team knows what sort of teams they are playing against

Decent observations, KB. We are playing too direct - it isn't a game to go past 3 players and then slide it past the keeper, the way to win these games is to be constantly moving, creating space, passing and moving. Moving means when you don't have the ball as well, and when our attack breaks down we need to be quicker at tracking abck, even 2 yards in this game could be the difference between conceding and winning possession back.
We played reasonably well last night apart from 10 minutes in the first half where we seemed to stroll around and ended up conceding 5.
BTW I haven't played a first half yet, so if we are stronger in the second half I'll take a bit of credit for that! ;)
