Managed to actually watch this today after downloading it nearly 3 weeks ago. Gripping stuff I can tell you.
I know that some people have stated that the film should never have been released but I can't see why. After all they never really kicked a fuss up when United 93 was released.
I'd seriously recommend anyone wanting to watch a film this weekend to watch this. Some of the acting from Cage is a bit wooden, but after watching it, you still wonder how they got out alive

We are NOT on the side of the PC guardian reading pinko faggot brigade who are tearing our culture away day by day as we speak. The man on the street will kick off big time very soon, we are the moral majority in this case.

I have already had a post deleted from this thread it seems.
Something along the lines of.....it ends when James Bond kills Bin Laden by suffocating him with a Morrisons carrier bag.
Now whats wrong with saying that?......should I have said Sainsburys instead of Morrisons?

Isn't Morrisons and Sainsburys a little bit "upmarket" for people on Swaine House?

Saw it last night! I really enjoyed it, I think watching it at the cinema really adds to the experience too (i.e. when the building collapses etc!) Cage's acting was awful UNTIL he got trapped tough!
Also tought the Jesus thing was very random!

Went to see it yesterday. It is a long film but I never though 'Gowd, has it nearly finished yet?' which i often think when watching longer films.
Like has been mentioned before Nicholas Cage's acting wasn't the best but I liked the way the film was put together and the ending was happy, in the circumstances! I even had a bit of a weep, which isn't like me either!! tup:

People who cry at movies or tv fiction programmes always make me laugh....
I suppose as a girly and given the fact it was based on real events you can be excused slightly.....
But otherwise for normal programmes film or tv crying is a bit geeky wouldn't you say...
