Have a look at a horse called Hellvelyn in this race. I saw it run at Pontefract and it travelled really well, winning easily. It followed up with a good win at Royal Ascot and was then 2nd behind a well fancied Aidan O Brien horse. There is an odds on horse in the race that all the tipsters fancy but i'm avoiding it at odds on.No value at all.

Hellvelyn will be around 6-1/7-1 and is worth a few quid. It's also entered in next years 2000 Guineas and if it wins this race it's odds will be slashed. I'm already on it for the Guineas next year at 25-1. The trainer rates it very highly and has a great strike rate with his 2 yr old horses this year.

I'll be at work during the race so if someone gets to watch the race let me know how it runs. The odds on horse should win according to the tipsters but i'd rather take some value on this horse instead. Could be an each way bet depending on number of runners.

It came second behind Omars Ruin at 10-1tup: ...nice try but the course was firm to good and the conditions sligtly overcast which of course counted against him just a little.
Should be better at The Halal Northern Handicap at the weekend.

Right then I'm going to put 10pence each way on it, and if it doesn't get a place you're forrit !!

It finished 4th apparently. Was weakening but had no room to get through. The short price favourite won the race. Ground may have been too soft today. I'll read full race analysis later when its on racing post site.

But do you not find it booring -- and putting home wins when the top teams are away to the bottom of the league must be a bit depressing I would think -- but its your system -- good thing were all different ;)
