Does anyone know what's happening about a kit? It's just i've been pricing up kits for my Monday team and the prices seem pretty good.
I think someone with a good knowledege of how to use this message borad should come up with a voting system for kit colour ideas. Whilst I appreciate that most will probably want City colours, I don't think that this is the way to go as there will be alot of teams with actual City shirts in the league, also white, navy, red should be left alone beacuse these tend to be popular colours.
I suggest something a bit different like orange, yellow, green. your thoughts please?

Did I forget to mention NO pastel colours!
i reckon if ya get the shirts done in a good C&A design you would be able to flog quite a few to members on here A : to subsidise the kit or B: to raise funds for site development...only a thought

It were mentioned before mate that i was looking to sort the kit out and sponsor us, i'm gonna discuss this with Baldy though cos he might be interested in sponsoring us with claret and banter - the kit i was pricing up was from the company who do our company embroidery and screenprinting and was gonna come in at £14 a top (including 2 colour logo on front and number on back) - and £8 for shorts and £5 for socks......let us know if you wanna sponsor it Baldy by PM!!....
The kit i was looking at is is linked below - nowt remotely claret and amber, its hard to get hold of owt similar and quite liked this un.....

I'm still interested in sponsoring it, although we mentioned doing half each. Is it possible to get one logo on the back and a different one on the front?
Personally I would have preferred something in claret and amber myself, but I'm not fussed and it's up to you guys who will be wearing it.
The figures you gave add up to £27 a kit - how many would we need?

Personally i think we should forget shorts and socks - we just need tops, 4 outfield tops and 3 sub tops is plenty IMO - and would cost just short of a hundred nicka.....
Don't think weve a prayer of getting owt claret and amber baldy unless we bought some old City tops - Can't see it being a problem about sponsors on the back, you don't need numbers in five a side so could probably have a big advert on the front and back that way!!

if you have a look on that website the -Pro Star Torino Football Jersey- scarlet and yellow looks ok, it'd be different to most and is closer to C&A?
Here's some I like:

From my point of view i'd be happy to go for any but it'd be much better for me if it came from that website cos we have an account with Whittakers and they also have our logo already digitised....
That un could look good Booshie!!.....tup:

Why has nobody mentioned pink? If people think we are gay perhaps they won't try and tackle us in fear of being bummed! You've got to try use things to your advantage!

no mate I reckon we need shorts and socks. it looks miles better when everyone is wearing the full kitand we representing C&B after all. i don't mind fronting a bit of cash if it's going to be a problem.

there are some very decent and quite cheap nike kits all over the net the only problem being that all the logos and stuff would need setting up. so i reckon mattys website would probably be the best and easiest.
as for pink JPH! don't be defending behind me tonight lol

The cost won't be a problem at all, if everyone would prefer shorts and socks, fine, just know some prefer to wear their own - if the team are happy with the Lazio kit that Ed and yourself like then it'll come in at a couple of hundred nicka for 7 full kits - £100 for me and £100 for Baldy - no probs to me, don't think it will be to baldy either....

then it's almost settled just need everyones approval. do you like that kit anyway? and what about a keeper top etc for yourself they tend to be a bit more expensive?

The cost on the whittakers one seems dearer but does include logo and is the price for small numbers - cheaper prices normally don't include printing and are based on ordering a full strip (11 kits and 3 subs).....With us having an account an'all once ordered they normally only take 7-14 days to arrive with no messing!!
It'll cost £15 extra to set up the digitising of a claret and banter logo - only a few quid extra each!!
I'm making a logo :)
Will be ready tomorrow night :)

I might aswell wear my own mate its padded and green and black - quite subtle and comfy and is me "lucky top"......tup: Its not worth spending 30 nicka on a new one which wouldn't show up the logo's that well and i'm diving around in!!...

I'd do one but my laptop has broken and i don't think my boss would be impressed if i spent all day designing one whilst i am suposed to be working. i might pop into work at the weekend and have a go since graphic design is what i studied. i might buy a new lap top at the weekend anyway.

We played a couple of teams full of real rough guys but ended up winning 15-7 and 11-9 there were some real dickheads in there teams so watch out cos I think there in Division 2 aswell, we are playing The Marsh 2nite, are they any good?
European Bob
09-28-2006, 02:54 PM
they are really, really poor it sounds like you should beat them easily. how come you're in div2 if you won both games and scored quite a few?

I dunno mate I was pretty suprised myself, looks like Division 1 must be really strong, I dunno if it went purely on results or the refs give the team a rating or summot or it might be because a few of our team our quite young. Think we might be stickin around to watch your game seen as tho your playing straight after us, good luck lads.
European Bob
09-28-2006, 03:09 PM
yeah you too mate. by the sound of it you'll be a decent side if you've got young lads playing for you alot fitter than us anyway.

I'm not too fussed on the colour of the kit. I'd prefer to have a full kit though and I don't ming putting in a bit of cash if needed.
How long does it take from order to delivery?

Once the Claret and Banter logo is sorted i'll order it, if the logo's with me by Monday - we should have the kit for a week next Thursdays game.....tup:
There won't be any need for anyone to put any brass towards - and we will get the full kit!!

If no one has any objections see if you can get black socks with the kit, it'll look miles better.
