IF this gets like the main website's forums then a new mod will be needed pretty quickly :)

Is there anyway of putting avatars on as I feel this is a good way of identifying people plus its adds a personal touch. It’s a great message board though and i can see it going from strength to strength.

While we're on requests and comments a few more:

I second the avatar request, but is there any function that allows users to chose whether avatars and signatures are viewed or not?

From your other thread it would appear people like a claret and amber look, but my personal preference is black text on white background. I think it's easier on the eye if you are on for any length of time. The novelty value of claret and amber wears off after a while. Again, is there any function that allows users to set their own preferences?

A feature that many liked on the old message boards was the ability to see who else was on line at the time. Can this be added in?

This forum allows for multiple skins, I'm working on another one this weekend and you'll be able to choose between this skin or a skin that has as you require black text on a white background :)

Users will be able to choose which they use and change at anytime.

Online users is going to appear shortly :)

Moderators are effectively posters like everyone else but have the power to delete posts. There are currently 3 Mods at present and they will delete any obsene or offensive posts from the board, if you find a post which you find offensive report it.
This board can be accessed by anyone and because of that we want posts to repect the possibility that children could be reading them.
Ed is working on a swear word filter as one of the many improvement he is currently looking into.
The Mods are here to ensure this board doesn't decend into the Anarchy of the OMB, and are there to help Ed govern the board therefore allowing him to enrich everyones experience by creating improvements and updates for the board.

As the Rules say Idiots will be banned NO QUESTIONS ASKED.
Ed has put a lot of time and effort into this messageboard and as such those who use it like an idiot deserves to be banned, no questions asked.
